The mouse and keyboard are connected to the computer either over 2.4GHz RF via the included USB nano receiver or via Bluetooth. You can switch between connection type quickly and easily on both mouse and keyboard. This allows e.g. used by this kit on a laptop via Bluetooth and a PC at the same time if the connection to the computer is via the nano receiver, all connections with 128-bit AES encryption.
