This USB cable by Delock enables the connection between a device with a USB Type-C™ connector and a PC or a laptop equipped with a free USB Type-C™ port. This active optical cable uses optical fiber to transmit high-speed signals. Compared to traditional copper cable, it is softer, thinner, lighter, and can transmit signals over longer distances without loss.

The cable is suitable for connecting a USB-C™ monitor with resolution up to 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 @ 144 Hz) to a computer with USB-C™ interface and DisplayPort Alternate Mode support.
The active optical cable enables data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps when connecting USB 10 Gbps compatible devices. Of course, USB 2.0 devices can also be connected.
Supporting the USB Power Delivery standard, connected devices can be powered up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A).
Note
This cable is only compatible with DisplayPort (DP alt mode) devices and it will not work with Thunderbolt™ devices.
